Rigidity and Flexibility are central to all aspects of clinical work. It is why when Milton Erickson was asked what he thought the cause of peoples' problems was, he responded "rigidity." Whether you're focused on your client's feelings, behaviors or thoughts, helping them learn to discriminate when/where to be rigid or flexible is a valuable skill set that they can apply across all life's contexts.

It's common to get 'stuck' in old, familiar ways of doing things, even when they don't serve us well. It is often a challenge for clinician's to help their client's break that cycle. Starting with a foundational appreciation that our clients are not being resistant, this master class will encourage curiosity and creativity in utilizing hypnosis and strategic interventions to facilitate flexibility in our clients. The emphasis is on practical applications and so there will be a practice exercise on each day that you can learn and take back to your practice.

PARTICIPANT CRITERIA:
This 6-hour Master Class is designed for those health care professionals who have participated in our 100-Hour Comprehensive Clinical Hypnosis & Strategic Psychotherapy Training.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

• Dr. Yapko & Associates is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Dr. Yapko & Associates maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
• Dr. Yapko's courses are approved by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) for educational course hours towards ASCH certification.
• Participants are responsible for checking their individual state or licensing board/organization to see if they will accept these hours.

REFUND POLICY:
If you cancel your participation in writing prior to October 1, 2023, you will receive a refund minus a $25.00 admin fee. There are no refunds once the training begins.
