Dr. Kirsch will describe his landmark research on the placebo effect and it’s curious relationship to the presumed merits of antidepressant medications. Dr. Yapko will be discussing the limitations of drug treatment based on the evidence that depression is more a social than medical problem. There will be a Q & A session following.
