2022 Master Class Process-Oriented Hypnosis: Being General Deliberately to Produce Specific Results

Virtual

A New Online Skill-Building Webinar. LIVE, not recorded.

Each year we offer a Master Class for participants that have participated in our Comprehensive 100-Hour Training Course that expands upon a topic presented in the 100-Hour training. This year’s Master Class is designed to focus on Process-Oriented Hypnosis.

This is an innovative approach to the clinical uses of hypnosis for reasons that will be well-described and explained in this webinar. We’ll explore the advantages of adopting a macro-view of people’s problems as a complement to the more typical micro-views clinicians focus upon. The emphasis will be on targeting the structural components of problems rather than their content. This means striving to better understand how the client generates their symptomatic experience rather than attempting to explain why. More important, we’ll go the next step in identifying what the structural components of hypnotically based solutions may be.

We will meet for 3 hours on Friday, September 23rd and 3 hours on Saturday, September 24th from 9:00-noon (Pacific Daylight time in the US/Canada)

2022/2023 Online 100-Hour Clinical Hypnosis & Strategic Psychotherapy Training

Virtual
This is Phase 1 (OPEN to new participants) of a multi-phase (5-part) training and participants must register for the entire training to participate. There is no partial attendance. Once the training begins on October 26, 2022 no new participants may join this course.

This 100-hour clinical hypnosis and strategic psychotherapy course is a comprehensive training for health care professionals only (with at least a Master’s degree and license to practice in the country where you live) to learn and integrate the skills of clinical hypnosis into their practice.

Traditionally, we have offered this course as an in-person live event in the beautiful coastal city of Carlsbad, California. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the U.S. in March, 2020 it prompted us to complete our 2020 100-Hour training online. It proved to be a much better experience than we were expecting and participants were pleased to have completed the training in this way. As a result, we are conducting this training online now and the feedback to date has been great appreciation for the opportunity to be able to participate since the in-person option would not have been possible for many of the participants. We have made the decision that this online option remains the most desirable going forward.

The small group cohesiveness becomes an integral part of this training experience as no new participants can join the group once it begins. Michael Yapko’s structured approach to teaching, his humor and emphasis on practical and hands-on learning makes this an outstanding professional and personal experience. Despite concerns that the online format would interfere with the group cohesiveness and practice sessions, that has not been the case. We are able to maintain the small group practice sessions and participants get alot of practice with each other deepening their connection and learning.
