My recent radio interviews about the new book, Depression is Contagious have been very interesting.  Some of the podcasts can still be heard by clicking on the link below.  People have been so mired in their own beliefs about depression that the notions I present in the book about depression being more than just biochemistry and more than affecting just the individual sufferer have been challenging to many. We have such a long way to go to expand people’s understanding about this devastating disorder. Please share the book with people and help them grasp that the more we study genetics and neuroscience, the more we learn about how environment, especially relationships, influences gene expression, neurochemistry and mood.
